How scrum guys think?
The non-scrum mindset...
What are the challenges you need to face as a developer in the real life scenario?
- "Hi, i know you are a Java guy, but i need you to work on C#, i don't think there is a big difference between those two technologies, just attend 2hrs training you will be alright".
- "hai, a small help is required for that X project, so just stop this y as of now",...a few days later, "why didn't you complete that X project in time?"
- "I don't know what you do whether you work night or Sunday's, i want the deliverable as per the plan".
- PM:How much time it takes?
- Dev:4 days
- PM: We don't have that much leverage... why not 4 hrs?
- Dev:no...i think, i will try in 8 hrs
- PM: Ok take 10 hrs, work comfortably!
- PM: You did finish but client complained that so many bugs are there, that's too bad.
- Dev: ;(
- "Common we need to kick start, we can't wait until the client says, start things with assumptions as the product is of generic one...." After some days, "why so many changes, its ok changes won't take much time i hope, you will finish it in a few minutes".
- "I don't want to hear any technical issues, you need to discuss with others, google it and finish... you should be smart and time conscious".
- Over smart peer
- Pressure to work in a technology which you dislike
- Whose work it is when comes to integration?
- Over time work every day
- Update Metrics for PM & Quality personnel to screw you up
- Complex work did the adventure but still get the blow - delayed deliverable
- "You said you will be completing it in 4hrs, but still working for 6hrs not yet finished" when will u give?, voice from Lead / PM / SM..
